I am a creative, adaptable counsellor who enjoys providing therapy to clients in a relaxed setting.

I work with clients to explore whatever worries and fears are affecting their happiness, sometimes this may look like :

A general feeling of being overwhelmed by life or a situation

A particular problem that you never seem to get past

A traumatic event that disrupts your life

Whatever yours look like - I can help you to untangle thoughts

and make sense of your world.

I have a wide range of life experiences which have provided me with opportunities to challenge my own thoughts , feelings and behaviours. These include running my own business, trekking for charity , raising two children and working at a hospice, providing support to family carers and people affected by cancer.

I am an open and welcoming counsellor who has supported clients of all ages and nationalities with;

  • workplace problems

  • family relationships

  • partner relationships and homelife

  • self esteem issues

  • anger

  • depression

  • self confidence

  • anxiety

  • loss

  • health issues

  • cancer impact (diagnosis, treatment, living with and beyond)

  • sexual abuse

  • domestic abuse

  • trauma

  • divorce & separation

  • parenting

  • social media

I am able to offer my clients an adaptable counselling and therapy service from two different locations in Chelmsford and South Woodham Ferrers and also my online and telephone service for people that for many different reasons may want to have counselling in the comfort and privacy of their own home, office or car.

For busy people with demanding lives making time to to think over your problems in therapy may feel like another task to fit in - but feedback from my clients and from my own personal experiences shows time and time again that in this little bit of weekly space, problems can gradually be resolved.

I offer weekly, short or long term counselling to adults , young adults and adults over the age of 18.

As a fully insured and registered counsellor I work in accordance with the BACP ethical framework.

' I really didn't think I could trust anyone enough to tell them what I was feeling , I was worried it might sound stupid'
